Announcing Slack leave approvals!

You may already know that HR Partner has a sophisticated Slack bot which allows you to ask for information about your staff in plain English. This week, we've extended that Slack functionality to allow you to approve employee leave requests within Slack, all without having to leave your Slack environment and sign in to HR Partner!

We have implemented 2 way interactive messages, which allows a leave request to be either sent to a user as a direct message, or else posted in a public or private Slack channel for multiple admins to approve or reject.

We've even made the Slack channel assignment dynamic, so that you can post the request into different Slack channels depending on the employee's department or location!

Employee Timesheet Approvals

We now have the ability for employees (e.g. managers or supervisors) to approve or view timesheets for their individual teams. We have also added timesheet notes that all involved parties can see, to allow for more details whenever a timesheet is submitted or needs review.
