Finish the year strong with HR Reports

Now it is the end of 2024, it is a useful time to be reminded of the depth of reporting available in HR Partner, and how you can set them up to optimise your reporting for the coming year.

2024 is coming to a close, and now is a good time to assess your staff. Whether you want to see a year-to-date headcount, analyze the answers during your annual performance reviews, or track if anyone has outstanding Checklists to attend to before the end of the year, HR Partner’s reports have you covered! We’ve rolled out some exciting new reports and reporting features this year, but also want to share some reports that may be helpful to HR leaders as they wrap up 2024.

NEW⎻The Checklist Report

We’re excited to announce that as of this week, we’ve rolled out the Checklist Report! This report allows you to track and assess who has completed or is still working on a Checklist. You can narrow your results by employee categories or specific employees, the specific Checklist template, completion status, or even by the Checklist assigned and completion dates.

You can even opt to show the Checklist Items in the results. Results can be exported via PDF or CSV for your assessment. This would be a great way to track outstanding Checklists that need to be completed before the end of the year.

Find out more about the Checklist Report here.

NEW⎻The Performance Management & Goals Reports

It’s a common practice this time of the year to hold your annual performance reviews. We created two separate reports to assess your employees’ progress towards their goals (for both Company and Employee Goals), and the submitted answers and completion tracking of performance reviews.

These reports are a great way for your HR leaders and team managers to see how your staff is doing in terms of their performance and progression as we close out the year, and perhaps come up with new goals for 2025!

NEW⎻Time to Hire Report

Another aspect of HR that’s helpful to assess at the end of the year is how long it took to hire your employees who began their employment with you in 2024. That’s why we created the Time to Hire Report.

If you’re using our Recruitment feature and have hired employees this year through HR Partner, this report will populate the names of those employees, when the job listing was opened, the date range for when the Applicant-to-Hire first submitted their application until they were hired, and how long it took to hire them.

You can narrow down the results by adding parameters for Job Listing and the date ranges for when the job was listed and the applications were submitted by the Applicants. The Time to Hire Report can be your Talent Acquisition Team’s sidekick in strategizing next year’s hiring roadmap and timeline.

Helpful Reports and Feature Rollouts to Set Your Staff Up for Success

Custom Employee Report Builder

Our Custom Employee Report Builder allows you to select from more than 50 different fields of core employee data, giving you the power to tailor and streamline your reporting in a format that works best for you.

It’s like a buffet of exportable employee data you get to pick and choose to showcase in the results of your report. You can learn how to build custom reports here

Dynamic Dates

Earlier this year, we rolled out the Dynamic Dates parameter in our reports. These allow you to set your favorite filter options on reports within HR Partner and reprint them on a later date to save time filling out all the drop-downs again.

This will be helpful if you want to start 2025 with saved reports that need these Dynamic Dates, so you and your HR teams don’t need to think about setting up those parameters ad-hoc each time the report is needed (if the same parameters are needed each time the report is run).

You can learn more about Dynamic Dates at the bottom of this article here

Renewable Documents & Training Reports

On our Reports page, two reports under the Employee Records section can be particularly useful in planning ahead to assess if your staff is going into 2025 in compliance with your federal, local, and/or industrial laws and regulations.

Our Renewable Documents and Training Reports can be helpful tools in making sure your staff are compliant, as long as the records are in the system under those modules. For example, you can run the Training Report to see who of all your employees has done their CPR Training for the year (that way you can see anyone missing the record in their profile and follow up with the employee if needed).

Specifically, our Renewable Documents report has an option to only include employees WITHOUT a certain document. You can learn more about the Renewable Documents Report here

The Address Report

If you’re in the United States, it’s never too early to make sure you have your employees’ most current mailing address for the upcoming tax season next year. If your employees can update their profile information from their employee portals, they can be instructed to make sure their mailing address is current in the system or they can update it. When it comes time to mail out any tax documents, you can run this report to gather all your employees’ mailing addresses.

When it comes to starting 2025 off right, we’ve got you covered. We’re excited to keep building out more features and reports in HR Partner so you can properly support your staff and stay in compliance.

Please reach out to support@hrpartner.io if you have any questions about how to run or export our reports. Here’s to finishing up 2024 strong!
