Recruitment integration updates (Part 2)
Last week we announced Disposition Tracking for Indeed's integration, and this week we are announcing support for Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) questionnaires during your recruitment process.
A new condition of our Indeed Apply integration (as a development partner) now necessitates the option of including EEO questions on a job application form.
We have had lengthy back and forth discussions with Indeed, and have decided to implement the minimum number of questions in order to facilitate possible reporting requirements for the EEO Commission.
EEO questions can be activated on a job by job basis, by editing the Job Listing and ticking this checkbox at the bottom:
Turning on this checkbox will add the following 4 questions to the bottom of your normal job application form:
More information on this new feature can be found in this article on our Knowledgebase.
Indeed have not been clear as to whether these EEO questions are mandatory for all our larger US based customers, so we have left it as an 'opt in' for each individual job at this stage. If they come back to us with confirmation that it needs to be on permanently then we will communicate this to you accordingly.
We are seeing requirements from various countries that they will be implementing EEO style questions in the near future for reporting and statistical purposes so we have begun to make the necessary changes in our system to adapt and accommodate these upcoming legal requirements.
Please rest assured that all of us here at HR Partner realise the sensitivity of such information, and have ensured that our data collection practices respect the privacy and security of this data, and any reporting we generate will be anonymised to prevent identification of the individual applicants.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns about these new features, please contact our support team at support@hrpartner.io
