AWS Outage - October 2025

Our response to the Amazon Web Services outage on 20th October.

The global AWS outage recently affected many online platforms around the world, with some experiencing significant downtime and disruption.

HR Partner was also briefly caught up in the outage — but we’re pleased to confirm that the impact was minimal.

While the outage was outside of our control, HR Partner remained online throughout, with only a few features — including the ability to send emails and reminder notifications — affected for a short period of time. 

All data stayed secure, and there was no disruption to access or core functionality.

Although HR Partner itself remained online, some of the partners we use to communicate with customers were also impacted by the AWS outage, which limited our ability to send customer updates during that time.

As AWS have now fixed the issue, everything is fully operational once again. It’s business as usual at HR Partner.
